Michael Jordan Announces iHeart Departure

• In a marked difference from the mass firings currently underway at Audacy, RAMP has confirmed that Michael Jordan has resigned his position as iHeartMedia Regional SVP & iHeartCountry Brand Coordinator, closing out a 23-year run. “This was my choice,” Jordan said. “iHeart has been nothing short of amazing.”

Jordan joined the former Clear Channel Lexington, KY in 2002 and went on to serve as SVP of Programming, PD of WAMZ/Louisville and WBUL (98.1 The Bull)/Lexington, KY, and Director of NTR & Promotions for iHeartMedia Lexington. Jordan began his radio oddyessy at the impressionable age of 12 at the former WTKT (Oldies 103.3)/Lexington, KY.
