Michaels Adds WVTK PD Stripes
• Congrats to TJ Michaels, PD of VOX AM/FM Country WCPV (101.3 The Wolf)/Burlington, VT/Plattsburgh, NY, who just doubled his programming portfolio with the annexation of Classic Hits clustermate 92.1 WVTK.
In making the announcement of Michaels’ upgrade, VOX AM/FM VP of Operations & Station Manager John Mullett said, “TJ is a fantastic Brand Manager. I have no doubt that he will continue to build upon the success we have already had with 92.1 WVTK.”
Michaels commented, “I’ve always had a love for the Classic Hits Format and am excited to be working with the WVTK staff to continue to entrench that radio station into the local community!” In order to accommodate his busier schedule, Michaels has relinquished his 7-midnight shift on WVTK, but will retain his afternoon drive show on The Wolf.
Michaels joined WCPV in 2019, and rode it through its transition from Sports-Talk (The Game) to Country last October. Before that he spent 17 years as PD of Great Eastern Radio Classic Hits WRFK (107.1 Frank FM)/Barre, VT.
