Michaels Named Digital PD Of iHeart Philly

• iHeartMedia Philadelphia has tapped Matt Michaels as Digital Program Director, effective immediately. As Digital PD, Michaels will oversee the website content and social media platforms for the six-station group. He will continue to do weekends on-air host for Soft AC WISX (106.1 The Breeze).

Michaels reports to Brian Check, Regional Vice President of Programming for iHeartMedia Philadelphia, who said, “Matt has already proven he is a leader and is well respected by both programming and sales. Five years ago, he made an immediate mark as an intern and it has been incredibly rewarding to watch him grow and step into this new role.”

Michaels was most recently iHeartMedia Philadelphia’s Digital Coordinator and produced Show Bizz Buzz with Valerie Knighton 106.1 The Breeze. He previously produced Chio in the Morning for the station.
