Michelle Matthews: Free Agent

• RAMP has confirmed that Michelle Matthews has exited as OM of Saga’s Columbus Radio Group in Columbus, OH and PD of AC WSNY (Sunny 95) and Hot AC WVMX (Mix 107.9) as her position is eliminated. We understand that Matthews’ former duties will be absorbed internally.

Matthews had been on the job since Jan. 2015, after a stint as PD of iHeartMedia Classic Hits KLOU/St. Louis and Digital PD of the cluster. Prior to that she spent eight years in Omaha as OM of the Clear Channel/iHeartRadio cluster and served as Regional Programming Manager for Omaha, Wichita and Sioux City, IA. Her nearly three decades in the industry also include stops at KXPK & KALC/Denver and a prior stint with Saga as OM of the company’s Capitol Radio Group in Springfield, IL.
