‘Mo’ Cooper New KRBE Creative Services Director

• Cumulus Media has appointed Maureen “Mo” Cooper as Creative Services Director for Top 40 104.1 KRBE/Houston. Cooper previously held a similar position for 10 years with Cox Media Group Houston.

When introducing Mo to the staff, Leslie Whittle, who doubles as PD of KRBE and VP of Hot AC for Cumulus Media, said, “I’m beyond impressed with Mo’s creativity, both in and out of the studio and am excited about the unique perspective she brings to KRBE. She’s a proven innovator in the Creative Services field and I’m thrilled to have her as part of the KRBE team.”

Cooper started her media career while attending Syracuse University, and held production and on-air roles at iHeartMedia’s WWHT, WBBS and WYYY/Syracuse, rising to Creative Services Director and Production Director during her tenure there. Cooper later spent seven years as Imaging/Production Director for Cox Media Group’s WPYO and WPYM/Orlando before relocating to Houston. She’s currently handling imaging for Cumulus Country duo KPLX and KSCS/Dallas and will continue in that role, in addition to her new duties at KRBE. “I am overjoyed to be part of the team at KRBE!” Cooper exclaimed. “The positive energy here is contagious.
