NAB Crystal Award Winners Announced
• The National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) announced the 2022 NAB Crystal Radio Award winners Tuesday morning at the NAB Show in Las Vegas. The 2022 NAB Crystal Radio Award recipients listed below were chosen from 50 previously announced finalists:
Cox Media Group AC WFEZ/Miami; Urban One Urban AC WTLC-FM/Indianapolis; iHeartMedia Urban AC WDAS-FM/Philadelphia; Taylor Communications’ Full Service KCLY/Clay Center, KS; Bonneville News-Talk KTAR-FM/Phoenix; Audacy All-News simulcast KYW-AM/WPHI-FM/Philadelphia; Beasley Classic Rock WMGK/Philadelphia; Bonneville AC KSFI/Salt Lake City; Hubbard Talk KTMY/Minneapolis-St. Paul; and Urban One Urban KBFB/Dallas-Ft. Worth.
Since 1987, the NAB Crystal Radio Awards have recognized radio stations for their year-round commitment to community service. The winners were chosen by a panel of judges representing the broadcast industry, community service organizations and public relations firms.
Fun Facts: Three Philadelphia radio stations are among the ten honorees; and Bonneville and Urban One own two honorees each.
