Naylor Nails Down PM Drive, WLS-FM/Chicago
Naylor, the artist formerly known as Tom “Jammer” Naylor, arrives in the Windy City after 24 years in New Orleans, where he most recently programmed Audacy Top 40 WEZB (B97) for over 16 years before his departure in March during Audacy’s mass exodus. Earlier programming stops include WABB/Mobile, KWID/Las Vegas and KYLZ & KKSS/Albuquerque, and he’s cracked the mic at WIOQ/Philadelphia, Kiss 108/Boston, WWKX/Providence and WNKS/Charlotte.
Todd Cavanah, Cumulus VP of Classic Hits and PD of 94.7 WLS-FM, said, “We are so excited to welcome Tyler to our 94.7 WLS-FM Cumulus team. His major market on-air and programming experience will be very beneficial as we continue to evolve the Classic Hits format in Chicago. He understands how to connect all the elements to engage on social media and on a daily on-air radio show.”
Naylor commented, “It’s such a privilege to work for Cumulus Chicago and 94.7 WLS. To be on the air every day and a part of this great media brand, in this amazing city is beyond belief.”
