New Horizons For Savannah Jones

• RAMP has confirmed that Savannah Jones has announced her impending departure as MD/evening entertainer at Entercom Country KWJJ (99.5 The Wolf)/Portland, OR, effective at the end of the month. We understand she is bound for a new industry opportunity, which she will reveal soon.

Ms. Jones (left) doesn’t exactly fit the textbook description of your average radio job-hopper — she’s been with The Wolf for 14 1/2 years! Earlier in her career she worked in Tucson and Des Moines, IA.

RAMP caught up with Mike Moore, VP of Programming for Entercom Portland, who tells us that Jones was one of his first hires there. “We are sad to see Savannah leave and are extremely grateful for all she has done for The Wolf, our listeners, clients and this community,” he said, adding, “An announcement about the future of the position will be made in the next couple of weeks.”
