Nicki G Moves Up In Sacto
• Congrats to Nicole “Nicki G” Ortega, who has completed her transition from Entercom Sacramento’s sales support team and into the cluster’s very busy Production department, reporting to Production Director Kim Kaplan.
Ortega was doing middays at Wine Country Radio Top 40 KSXY (Y100.9)/Santa Rosa, CA in September 2015 when she picked up weekends at Entercom Top 40 KUDL (106.5 The End)/Sacramento, which she still does. A year later, she joined the Entercom Sacramento sales support team fulltime.
Commenting on her new production opportunity, Ortega told RAMP, “I am super thankful to be a part of this award-winning team, and look forward to creating some memorable spots!”
We should mention that Sacramento production team is currently handling all of the local production demands, along with the company’s Portland group — a total of 13 radio stations. That being said, the company is now seeking an extra set of fulltime hands to assist in the department.
