Nik Carter: Free Agent
• Well, it was a week after the major cuts were announced at SiriusXM, but the budget reaper still came calling for Nik Carter, who exits after seven years.
Carter originally joined SXM in 2016 to co-host the morning show, Feedback on Volume. When that channel was retired last year, Carter segued to nights on Faction Talk.
Carter’s earlier notable major market stops include the late, great WXRK (92.3 K-Rock) and WRXP/New York, WFNX and WBCN/Boston, and WDGE (99.7 The Edge)/Providence. He’s also known for his stint on VH1 Classic, and for his syndicated shows On Tap With Nik Carter, Nothing Sacred and Absolutely Live.
