No Second Takes: It’s Live Day!

Today’s the day — for the second incredibly ambitious year, Entercom’s KISW/Seattle proudly presents “Live Day,” as the station’s two drivetime shows — BJ & Migs in the morning and The Mens Room in the afternoon will run all of their on-air elements completely live, including commercials, announcers, sound effects, jingle singers… and the music. Last year’s inaugural “Live Day” was a huge success, with over 1 million listeners tuning into both shows on air and through the KISW app.

Joining the regular cast for “Live Day” will be national acts and KISW favorites The Pretty Reckless and Halestorm. Additional talent will aid the hosts in creating the unique atmosphere of “Live Day” including favorite local bands, professional Foley artists from Impossible Acoustic, voice actors, a barbershop quartet, comics, former on-air personalities, special guests and other surprises. All the players will get together for the first time at the studio that day, without previous practice, leaving listeners and staff wondering about the outcome.
