Nolan & Cumulus Reunited
• Cumulus Media has appointed Gary Nolan as PD/midday host of Hot AC KQHN (Q97.3)/Shreveport, LA. Nolan (left) is a 30-year radio pro who most recently programmed iHeartMedia AC WMAG/Greensboro, NC until August 2017. Before that he was OM of the five-station Cumulus cluster in Pensacola, FL and he also programmed Cumulus Classic Hits KCMO and News-Talk KCMO-AM/Kansas City.
Over the course of his lengthy radio career Nolan has also served as OM of Clear Channel’s clusters in Panama City, FL and Binghamton, NY, and his earlier programming stops include WLTW/New York, KOSI/Denver, WLTE/Minneapolis, KRWM/Seattle and WTLT/Ft. Myers, FL.
In making the announcement of Nolan’s hire, Cody Welling, VP/Market Manager of Cumulus Media Shreveport-Bossier City, said, “We are fortunate to have someone of Gary’s caliber and expertise to headline as Program Director of KQHN.
