Now [Re]Entering Lexington: Patrick Scott
• Less than a week after he resigned as PD of Cumulus Country WNNF (94.1 Cat Country)/Cincinnati, Patrick Scott has resurfaced back in Lexington, KY as the newly named PD of LM Communications’ Hot AC WCDA (HITS 106.3) and Classic Hits WGKS (Kiss 96.9). Scott will also do afternoon drive on Kiss 96.9.
Scott is already very familiar with the Lexington market, having previously spent five years there with Cumulus, serving as Promotions & Marketing Director for the cluster’s five stations from 2016 until his elevation to PD of WLTO (Hot 102.5) in June 2019. He earned the transfer and upgrade to Country sister WNNF/Cincy in late 2021. We should note that Scott earlier worked in Cincinnati, on-air and in promotions for the former Bonneville and Clear Channel groups.
Scott broke his own news in a Facebook post that reads, “I’m so excited to announce that I am returning to Lexington! I’m the Program Director for HITS 1063 and KISS-FM, owned by LM Communications. I will be on air on Kiss starting Tuesday! I’m so excited to be back in the Bluegrass! Please take the time to download my apps and like my social media pages!
