NPR Ups Khilnani To SVP/Product
• NPR announced that Nik Khilnani has been promoted to Senior Vice President of Product and Audience Technology. Khilnani, who most recently served as NPR’s VP of Audience Technology & Vice President of Engineering, will now oversee the Product, Design, and Audience Technology teams, drive the roadmap and development of audience products, station tools, and engineering initiatives, and join NPR’s executive committee.
In making the announcement of Khilnani’s elevation, NPR Pres. & CEO John Lansing said, “Nik has done tremendous work leading our engineering department in the past year and providing vision as well as guidance, we are lucky to have him on our team and partnering with our Member stations to better serve our audiences.”
Khilnani has over 20 years of experience in technical leadership, including previous stints as VP of Engineering at Lurn, Inc., Sr. Director of Platform Engineering at the Walt Disney Company, and digital roles at National Geographic Partners, and Gannett Digital.
