Ocean Reaches To Stroudsburg
• Veteran programmer and air personality Danny Ocean has been named Program Director/afternoon drive talent for 7 Mountains Media Hot AC 93.5 WSBG/Stroudsburg, PA, with a start date of Monday, Dec. 4.
The move marks a welcome return to the daily radio trenches for Ocean, whose previous programming stops include WMC-FM (FM 100)/Memphis and WKCI (KC101)/New Haven. He has spent the past decade as Director of Affiliate Relations for Kid Kelly‘s Backtrax USA Networks, United Stations Radio Networks and Sheet Happens Prep Service.
Ocean’s earlier career stops included APD/MD positions at WJMN (JAM’N 94.5)/Boston, the former KZQZ (Z95.7)/San Francisco and WBHT (Hot 97)/Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, PA — where he worked for Jim Loftus, now COO of 7 Mountains Media. Ocean has also notably cracked the mic at WBEB (B101)/Philadelphia, Z100/New York, WERQ (92Q)/Baltimore and WHQT (Hot 105)/Miami, and for the past two years Ocean has been doing weekends at Beasley Classic Rock WMGK/Philadelphia.
