Oldies Living Here In Allentown
• After a nearly three-year experiment as “iHeart Podcast 1470,” iHeartMedia Allentown, PA has flipped WSAN-AM to Real Oldies 1470, playing the Lehigh Valley’s greatest hits of the ’60s and ’70s from artists including Elvis, The Beatles, Bee Gees, The Four Seasons, The Grass Roots, Motown and everything in between.
“I’m super excited to bring back ’60s and ’70s hits to the Lehigh Valley — this is the music that originally aired on 1470 when it was new,” said Craig Stevens, SVP of Programming for iHeartMedia Allentown, who will also do mornings on Real Oldies 1470. “This fills a musical void and I’m confident it will be well received.”
No less thrilled and excited is Jeff Hurley, EVP of Programming, who noted, “We’re thrilled to introduce the Lehigh Valley to Real Oldies 1470.
