• Locally-owned Top 40 KZIA (Z102.9)/Cedar Rapids, IA has an immediate opening for an on-air PD/MD, as we learned that current PD Jenny Valliere is leaving for a new opportunity TBA.
Do you want to get back to the roots of local radio and work for a small business? Are you an experienced team player and coach — yeah, that’s a cliché thing to say, but we see a lot of radio stations don’t have a team anymore. We do. We need someone to maintain the great sound of our station. You’ll be working with and leading a team around a busy promotional calendar and our own events. Excellent skills with MusicMaster scheduling, PlayoutOne or WideOrbit automation system is required, and a working knowledge of Adobe Audition and VoxPro is a plus.
Are you somebody that people want to follow? A strong social media presence a must. We want someone who can be engaging with our listeners and host a personality-driven airshift. Are you comfortable being in front of a camera? Our talent is very active in live video streaming and produced video content.
