Patyk Now PD Of KBZT/San Diego
• Entercom San Diego just announced that Chris Patyk has officially been named PD of Alternative KBZT (FM 94/9). Patyk will continue to program Top 40 sibling KEGY (Energy 97.3), while OM Kevin Callahan will oversee programming on AC clustermate KYXY in addition to Country KSON. “It was a no-brainer to elevate Chris Patyk to this role based on his experience,” said Callahan.
Patyk arrived in America’s Finest City™ in 2012 after stints at KYSR (Star 98.7)/Los Angeles, KZON (The Edge)/Phoenix and KUFO/Portland, OR. “I’m thrilled, excited and about every other adjective you can think of to be part of this amazing Entercom Alternative team that loves radio and the music,” Patyk said. “Working alongside of our APD/MD Jeremy Pritchard and massively talented on-air and promotional team is going to be a lot of fun!
