Power 106 Debuts Adjusted Lineup
• Meruelo Media’s KPWR (Power 106)/Los Angeles announced a revamped on-air schedule, starting with the elevation of Justin Credible (pictured) from nights to afternoon drive.
“Justin Credible’s Liftoff Show is a staple for Power 106,” said Pio Ferro, SVP of Audio Brands for Meruelo Media. “Justin captivates audiences with his infectious energy, deep passion for Hip Hop, celebrity interviews, freestyles, and his engaging content.” Credible remarked, “I’m thrilled to be moving to this new time slot. It’s an excellent opportunity to engage with listeners seeking their daily intake of Hip Hop and entertainment.”
Concurrent with Credible’s move up to pm drive, Power 106’s B-Nyce, who had been covering afternoon drive, and DJ Carisma will take over the 6-10pm weeknight shift. B-Nyce said, “I’m excited to bring my Talk 2 Me Nyce show to nights with DJ Carisma in the mix from 6-8pm! We’ll be bringing that infectious energy and passion for Hip-Hop. Can’t wait to connect with the city every night!”
The final pieces of Power 106’s on-air moves include the station’s popular Brown Bag Mornings moving an hour earlier on weekdays from 5-10am, and DJ E-Man launches his Power Midday Mix weekdays from noon-1pm.
