Pratt Upped To APD At Praise Charlotte

• Radio One Inspirational WPZS (Praise 100.9)/Charlotte has promoted midday personality Melanie Pratt to Assistant Program Director.

In making the announcement of Pratt’s elevation, OM Jeff “Uzi D” Anderson said, “Melanie has been eager to grow and learn since the day I met her. She continues to be an amazing talent and has already exhibited the tenacity, passion, and drive to have earned this promotion. I’m looking forward to so much more to come from Mel as she continues to work with the team to grow our Praise 100.9 brand.”

Pratt began her radio career in 2006 when she joined Praise 100.9. Since then she is a three-time Stellar Award nominee for Gospel Announcer of the Year. Pratt is also an ordained Elder in the Life Center Fellowship, where she and her husband, Bryan, serve as Youth and Young Adult Pastors at the Charlotte and Charleston, SC churches, and she serves on the Board of Directors for Inspire the Fire, a program for youth to excel in the arts.
