Prime PD Opening: SummitMedia Omaha

• RAMP has learned that Victor Starr has exited as Director of Programming & Operations for SummitMedia’s Omaha cluster and Program Director of Top 40 KQCH (Channel 94.1). We are told he has relocated back to Denver.

Starr joined SummitMedia Omaha in Nov. 2021, following a stint as Brand Manager of Audacy Rhythmic KQKS (KS107.5)/Denver from March 2016 until July 2021. Starr had been in the building since 2012, working in the KS107.5 sales department when he was promoted to the PD chair.

Starr’s earlier programming stops include WJHM (102 Jamz)/Orlando, WERQ (92Q)/Baltimore and WZMX/Hartford. He also served as Donnie Simpson‘s Executive Morning Show Director at WPGC/Washington back in the day.
