Promotion City @ Max Media Denver
• The programming department at Max Media Denver announces several internal promotions in the wake of the recent departure of VP of Programming Rick Thomas for a new gig TBA — Senen “SLiM” Rodriguez is upped to PD of Top 40 KFCO (HOT 107.1) and Rhythmic Oldies KJHM (Jammin’ 101.5), and Alvin “DJ A-Rich” Richardson is elevated to APD/MD for both stations.
SLiM has served as cluster Production Director since 2010 and has done afternoon drive on KFCO dating back to its former incarnations as Classic Hip Hop and Rhythmic FLO 107.1. He also tells RAMP that he previously “did every shift” on Jammin’ 101.5. SLiM began his career on on the street team KMEL & KYLD in his native San Francisco before rising to afternoons and enjoyed a stint as part of the morning show. He moved to Denver in 2001.
SLiM earlier spent nine years in nights across the street at KQKS (KS107.5), which is where Richardson began his career in 2005 as SLiM’s intern. Richardson later did weekends on KS107.5 for five years before jumping to Max Media in 2011 to do middays on KFCO. He later nights and APD for FLO 107.1.
