• Those matching cakes in the break room at NRG Media of Wausau-Stevens Point, WI are a dead giveaway that a couple of well deserved promotions just occurred — the action begins with Travis Place (left), host of Trav in the Morning on Rock Hits WBCV (Big Cheese 107.9), who has been elevated into the newly redefined role of Operations and Brands Manager for the cluster, which also includes Top 40 WHTQ (Hot 96.7), Classic Rock WGLX, and Country WYTE (Y106.5). At the same time it was announced that Kori McKay (right) has been promoted from APD to Program Director of Hot 96.7.
