• A man known simply as “Hot Sauce” is the newly named PD of Cumulus Urban WYNN/Florence, SC. Mr. Sauce transitions into his inaugural PD post from iHeartMedia Urban WGCI/Chicago, where he was Mix Show Coordinator, weekend personality and morning show mixer. His previous stops include WZHT (Hot 105.7)/Montgomery, AL and WKKV (V100.7)/Milwaukee.
“I’ve enjoyed the past eight years at iHeartMedia and I’m excited to begin this new chapter as a Program Director,” said Hot Sauce, who can now be reached at Hot.Sauce@cumulus.com. Hot Sauce succeeds “Big Mike” Bell, who in April transferred to the PD post at Urban sister WEAS (E93)/Savannah, GA.
• Cumulus Media has promoted Robin Chapman to General Sales Manager of its four radio stations in Lafayette, LA — KSMB, KRRQ (Q95.5), KNEK-FM/AM (Magic 104.7) and KXKC (NASH FM 99.1). Chapman joined the cluster in 2009 and rises from her current role as Sr. Account Executive.
VP/Market Manager Scott Chiasson said of Chapman, “She is passionate about our business, our company and will be a great asset to the leadership team. Additionally, this will provide her a larger footprint in providing solutions for clients and the community we serve using our powerful brands.” Chapman said, “I’m very grateful and blessed to be given the opportunity to help support and lead our wonderful sales team in Lafayette and look forward to this new chapter in my life.”
• Justin Tyme recently exited his weekend shift at Entercom Top 40 WKSE (Kiss 98.5)/Buffalo after four years and has relocated to beautiful Greenville, SC. Shortly after his arrival, Tyme was snapped up by PD Mike Klein to do weekends at SummitMedia Rhythmic WHZT (Hot 98.1). Tyme’s extensive resume includes stops at KWNZ and KDOT/Reno, KHKS/Dallas, WSTR (Star 94)/Atlanta, KQIZ/Amarillo, TX and WSSX/Charleston, SC.
