Pros On The Loose: Spatz & Casey

• Rubber City Radio Classic Rock 97.5 WONE/Akron, OH has released PD Matt Spatz and his morning co-host Amanda Casey. No replacements have been named yet.

This had been the second tour of duty for both Spatz and Casey — Spatz was on-air there from 1994-97, and Casey was on staff from 2007-10. Spatz and Casey rejoined the station as the morning team in Jan. 2021, and Spatz added PD stripes in December 2021.

Spatz previously programmed WROV/Roanoke, VA and spent some quality years in Youngstown, OH as PD of WNCD (93.3 The Wolf), WWIZ (Rock 104) and enjoyed two stints with Cumulus Classic Rock WYFM/Youngstown. He was also on-air at WLVQ/Columbus.

Casey notably did middays at Audacy Hot AC WQAL (Q104)/Cleveland from 2018-2020, preceded by a five-year stint as morning host, and later, OM, of Media One Hot AC WQGR/N. Madison, OH.
