• “Tommy C” Carrera has departed as PD of Alpha Media Country KDES (98.5 The Bull) and Classic Hits KDGL (106.9 The Eagle)/Palm Springs, CA after 3+ years. Carrera joined KDES in October 2015, shortly after the station launched and had done mornings and afternoon drive there during his stint.

Carrera is a veteran of the nearby Riverside market, previously spending nine years in mornings on CBS Radio Country KFRG (95.1 K-Frog). His earlier stops include KMLE and KNIX/Phoenix, KKAT/Salt Lake City, KBQI/Albuquerque and the former KZLA/Los Angeles. He also worked at KNEV/Reno back in the day as a member of the Citadel team with Scott Mahalick and Larry Wilson.
