Radio Milwaukee Enhanced By Adler & Corry
• Radio Milwaukee welcomes two familiar market veteran who will take on leadership roles: 1) Jon Adler, best known for his lengthy stint in mornings on Milwaukee Radio Alliance Alternative WLUM (FM102.1), joins non-comm Triple A WYMS (88Nine) as APD/evening personality and host of the Saturday morning request show, Let’s Hear It!, starting Aug. 2.
2) Radio Milwaukee also welcomes back Maggie Corry as the station’s Deputy Executive Director. Corry previously worked for 88Nine from June 2016 to February 2022, rising from Membership Manager to Development Director.
“The additions of Jon and Maggie clearly strengthen our leadership team and will further drive our community-focused storytelling and programming,” said Jordan Lee, Executive Director of Radio Milwaukee. “Even better, both Jon and Maggie are well-known and committed to Milwaukee, and the diverse and growing audience we serve through 88Nine and HYFIN.”
Over the course of his career, Adler has logged more than 3,000 interviews with musicians, actors, and comedians as a morning show host, earning more than 20 Wisconsin Broadcaster Association awards, including Best Morning Show and Best Interview. “Milwaukee is my home,” Adler said. “My goal is to continue contributing to the local media landscape and expand Radio Milwaukee’s influence in the community.”
As Deputy Executive Director, Corry will work with Lee and Tarik Moody, Director of Strategy and Innovation, to chart a course for 88Nine and HYFIN. “This is a homecoming for me,” said Corry. “Since leaving Radio Milwaukee in 2022, I was fortunate to spend time advising nonprofits on ways to resource their impact, strengthen their sustainability, and navigate ever-changing environments. Ultimately, my heart led me back to Radio Milwaukee where I can use the experience I gained to serve this great community and continue our impact.”
