Randall Named PD @ KCKC/Kansas City
• Steel City Media AC KCKC (KC102.1)/Kansas City proclaims Natalie “Rush” Randall has been upgraded from “Interim” to “Regular” PD. Ms. Randall (left) joined KCKC in April 2016 to afternoons and added MD stripes a year ago. She’s been running the show since Bryan Truta left in August to become Sr. Director of Radio Operations and morning host at crosstown Triple A KTBG (90.9 The Bridge).
“Since Day One, Natalie has brought an excellent energy to the KCKC team,” says GM Marc Harrell. “As interim PD, Natalie demonstrated excellent leadership, and with her prior managing experience and music knowledge, I was confident that we had the right person. I’m excited to watch what she does for her team as well as the station.”
Randall’s previous PD stops include Scripps Top 40 KSPW (Power 96.5)/Springfield, MO and Midwest Communications’ Top 40 WMGI (100.7 Mix-FM)/Terre Haute, IN. Earlier in her 25-year career Randall was MD at WFBC/Greenville, SC, morning co-host on KIZS/Tulsa and she did nights at WBQB/Fredericksburg, VA. Randall stated, “I discovered a new family since joining the team at KC102.1 and being able to watch the station grow has been such an honor. I’m excited to continue the forward momentum of KCKC and to lead the next chapter of the station. I want to thank Marc Harrell, Gregg Frischling and Michael Frischling for giving me this opportunity and for letting me continue to call Kansas City home.”
