Rare APD/AM Opening At Atlanta’s River
• With the recent departure of Atlanta market veteran Steve Craig, Cox Media Group Classic Rock WSRV (97.1 The River)/Atlanta is now looking for a multi-talented individual to serve as Assistant Program Director/Morning Personality (possible MD stripes for the right candidate).
[Your name here] must have an intimate understanding of The River’s 25-54 life group and be able to collaborate on the programming and design to that audience’s evolving desires and habits.
And here’s the deal: The River is the No. 1 station in the Atlanta market and hasn’t had a full-time opening in nearly a decade, making this a very special opportunity indeed.
The position requires a minimum of three years of Rock / Classic Rock / Classic Hits programming experience in a Top 75 market with a track record of success in PPM-rated markets. You must also demonstrate prior PPM success as host of a content-driven morning show. Knowledge and proven history of creating scalable promotions / events that generate revenue would be awesome, as well as outstanding verbal, written and interpersonal skills. Prior experience with WideOrbit, Adobe Audition, MusicMaster, etc. highly desirable.
