Redding Homecoming For Jennifer Jones Lee
• Results Radio LLC has hired Jennifer Jones Lee as Operations Manager for the company’s five-station group in Redding, CA: Adult Hits KESR (107.1 Bob-FM), Top 40 KEWB (Power 94.7), Classic Rock KHRD (Red 103.1), Sports-Talk KKXS (XS Sports 96.1), and Country KNCQ (Q97), effective June 26. The position was furloughed in December 2020, and re-opened in July 2022. In the interim, Results SVP Dave Shakes has handled many of the role’s responsibilities.
Lee arrives from KFI/Los Angeles, where she produced and hosted the Wake Up Call with Jennifer Jones Lee and served as Bill Handel‘s morning news anchor since 2016. Prior to that she spent 17 years in a variety of roles, including AM news anchor for KGO/San Francisco, winning numerous awards from the Associated Press, RTNDA, and an Edward R. Murrow Award.
The new gig marks a literal homecoming for Lee, who originally hails from Redding and started her radio career as a music personality at KEWB, before going on to work at KPAY/Chico and KFBK/Sacramento.
