Rice Named PD of WXXL & WMGF/Orlando

• iHeartMedia has acquired the talents of veteran programmer Jeremy Rice as the new Program Director of Top 40 WXXL (XL106.7) and AC WMGF (Magic 107.7)/Orlando. Rice succeeds Brian Mack, who was recently promoted to iHeartMedia’s National Programming team.

Rice joins iHeartMedia after more than two decades with Cox Media Group, most notably as PD of WBLI/Long Island and Top 40 Format Leader for all CMG stations, including Florida’s own WPOI (Hot 101.5)/Tampa Bay and WAPE/Jacksonville.

In his his new position Rice reports to Rick Everett, SVP of Programming for iHeartMedia Orlando and Jacksonville, who said, “Jeremy has an extensive background and knowledge in the CHR and AC format and is a perfect fit to lead our programming team in Orlando at XL106.7 and Magic 107.7. His unique perspective, positive energy and creativity make him a perfect fit.”
