Rob Brandt On The Loose

• Lots of supportive chatter on Facebook for Rob Brandt after he posted news of his unscheduled departure as PD and afternoon talent at Cumulus Classic Rock WLAV/Grand Rapids, MI, closing the book on three decades of service.

Over the weekend, Brandt posted this “farewell show photo” on Facebook along with this backstory: “And Now; The Rest Of The Story: My contract ended on 12/31/22 & was not renewed. Almost 2 weeks ago I was presented with a contract for A LOT less money & a new position (same show time). I did not accept the terms of the new contract. Basically, my management position was eliminated along with others. I retired from the LAV airwaves, but I am not retiring. Who’s Hiring? Thanks to one & all who have supported me in the past 29 years at LAV & thank you for all the very kind comments the past 2 days. I Love You, My Rock-n-Roll Brothers & Sisters!”
