Rosado Named Dir./Content, Sierra H Phoenix

• Sierra H. Broadcasting is proud to welcome seasoned programmer and on-air talent Eric Rosado as its new Director of Content, overseeing programming strategy and talent development for Classic Hip Hop KZCE (101.1 The Bounce) and Rhythmic Oldies KAJM (Mega 104.3)/Phoenix. He will also do afternoons on The Bounce.

Station owner Ken Brentlinger stated, “We are thrilled to welcome Eric to our team, and we are confident that his leadership will inspire our staff and continue to keep our brands growing in our rapidly expanding, competitive market.”

Rosado has spent the majority of his career with iHeartMedia, starting at KYLD (Wild 94.9) in his hometown of San Francisco, followed by stops at KDON & KOCN/Monterey and KGGI/Riverside. He was also part of the nationally syndicated Ghetto House Radio and iHeartRadio’s Dance Nation ’90s.

Rosado’s lengthy iHeart programming resume includes WBTT & WZJZ/Fort Myers, KUBE/Seattle, KXJM/Portland, KPEZ/Austin, and KHYL & KZIS/Sacramento. He was also a member of iHeart’s national Rhythmic CHR Programming team, and most recently consulted Sun Broadcasting’s WFFY (Fly 98.5)/Fort Myers.

“I’m very excited to join Sierra H. Broadcasting, which puts people first and believes in local radio,” Rosado remarked. “Our connection to the community and ability to program to the lifestyle and vibe of Phoenix is a huge factor in making radio a stand-out product that people want to keep coming back to. These two brands are important to this large and growing market and I look forward to creating a winning culture within our team and making some major noise in the Valley of the Sun!”
