Rosado Upped To PD Of KUBE/Seattle
• That massive chocolate cake in the break room of the iHeartMedia broadcast complex in Seattle indicates a significant staff promotion. Upon further review, we discovered that the lucky and talented individual is Eric Rosado, APD/MD and afternoon delight on Rhythmic KUBE 93.3, who was just elevated to the PD chair. The promotion frees up Mark Adams to focus on the 16 other things he has to do, including programming KYLD (WiLD 94-9) and KIOI (Star 101-3)/San Francisco.
Rosado arrived in Seattle as APD of KUBE in May 2018, earning the transfer back to the west coast after several years in Ft. Myers, FL as PD of Hot AC WZJZ (Y100.1) and Rhythmic WBTT (105.5 The Beat). Before landing in muggy Florida in March 2013, Rosado was based in Monterey-Salinas, CA, multi-tasking as APD/MD/afternoons at iHeartMedia Rhythmic KDON and Rhythmic Oldies sister KOCN (105.1 K-Ocean). Before that he worked at KYLD (Wild 94.9)/San Francisco from 1997-2004.
RAMP caught up with an elated Rosado, who told us, “It’s an honor to take over this important role for such a legendary set of call letters. KUBE is back and means a great deal to the Seattle-Tacoma market. Thank you to Rich Moore, Robert Dove, Maynard, Tim Herbster, Andrew Jeffries, Dylan Sprague and everyone since day one of this career that has helped me advance along the way. A HUGE thanks to Mark Adams — I’ve been fortunate to directly learn from one of the greats who has set us all up to succeed as we go forward. We have an extremely talented team on KUBE — their passion for the brand and work ethic is undeniable. We do whatever it takes to win, think big, stay focused, make noise, and equally important have fun! Let’s go!” Rosado can be congratulated at EricRosado@iheartmedia.com.
