Salisbury Takes Command Of Portland’s Bull

• Following a strategic operational realignment and positive ratings momentum, Connoisseur Media has promoted Dylan Salisbury to Content Director for Country KUPL (98.7 The Bull)/Portland, adding to his existing role as Content Director of Top 40 sister KBFF (LIVE 95.5).

Salisbury, who had already been serving as Assistant Content Director for The Bull, reports to Ross MacLeod, Connoisseur Portland Operations Manager and News-Talk Format Captain. “Dylan is one of the great young programmers in this country,” MacLeod said. “These two brands are in the best possible hands.”

“When I interviewed to come to Portland, I shared that it was my dream to one day program both a CHR and a Country station in a market like this. Today, that dream has come true, and I’m beyond grateful,” said Salisbury. “We’ve got something special brewing here, and I can’t wait to take it to the next level. Connoisseur Media also recognized the contributions of Collective Heads programming consultants Tim Richards and Jimmy Steal, who have now completed their day-to-day programming responsibilities for The Bull. Both will continue working with Connoisseur Media on specialized strategic initiatives across its portfolio, under the direction of SVP of Programming, Keith Dakin, who commented, “Connoisseur thanks Collective Heads for all the hard work they have put in to get this station to a place that we are happy to hand off to Dylan.
