SBG: Up Front & On Fire

• Over 400 very special industry guests — including RAMP‘s globetrotting ambassador, Steve Resnik attended Sun Broadcast Group’s amazing upfront event last Friday evening at New York’s legendary Plaza Hotel. Against this beautiful backdrop, SBG rolled out its 2020 network radio lineup. Hosted by iconic TV and radio personality Alfonso Ribeiro, 2020 — The Preview — the only one of its kind in network radio — included performances by recording artists MAXThe Sisterhood Band, ’90s superstar Coolio and SBG’s first-ever “Battle Of The DJs” featuring DJ SinisterDJ Grooves, DJ Xtreme and DJ Goofy White Kid.

In addition to celebrating the continuous success of The Hit List, The Fitz Show, The Michael Baisden Show, The Jim Brickman ShowThe ’90s with Alfonso Ribeiro, Woody & Wilcox and more, SBG welcomed several shows and services that will be switching syndicators in 2020 as well as many new shows making their radio debut. They include: Megatrax Production Library, Splat! Imaging, Research Director, The Storm Report, Checkpoint XP, Red Cup Country, The Sam Alex Show, Ground Zero with Clyde Lewis, The Kyle & Jackie O Show, Retro Pop Reunion and Weekend Throwdown with Jagger.

And there’s more — SBG’s Hispanic Division, Sun Latino, also announced major changes in its offerings, with a brand-new look and exciting shows including a Sports Division — Sun Deportes featuring BeiN Sports, Liga MX and Futbol Mexicano. Sun Latino also welcomes back Echate Pá Cá, 40 Principales Countdown and Subeme La Radio.

SBG also unveiled its 2020 theme — #unstoppable— as the company celebrates yet another record year.
