Season Two Of ‘Behind The Mic’
• Mentoring and Inspiring Women in Radio, Inc. (MIW), a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to the advancement of female leadership in radio broadcasting announces the 2nd annual Behind the Mic Mentorship, designed specifically to support the growth and evolution of women on-the-air.
Behind The Mic Mentorship is a year-long experience exclusively for female personalities that have been on-air for at least 3 to 5 years in local or national radio programming and have demonstrated a desire to grow their on-air career. The selected mentee will receive personalized conversations and advice from a wide range of industry professionals. The program also affords the mentee the chance to attend the NAB Radio Show 2025next April in Las Vegas.
MIW Board President Ruth Presslaff said, “Behind the Mic is, by far, our most competitive mentorship. But you know what they say, ‘you have to be in it to win it,’ so get your aircheck ready and go! A special thanks to Heather Cohen and the Weiss Agency for supplying a network of introductions to the best in the business for this coming year’s (and last year’s!) mentee!”
The mentorship is available to one female on-air personality from any U.S. based music format. Applications are being accepted HERE through August 30.
