Seattle’s AM WolfPack Adds PM Drive In Phoenix

• The Morning Wolfpack at Audacy Country KKWF (100.7 The Wolf)/Seattle is now enjoying some sweet interstate brand extension, as the the crew — Matt McAllister, Gabe Mercer, and “Captain Ron” Koons has been imported into afternoon drive at Country Cousin 107.9 KMLE/Phoenix.

The new Phoenix version of the show has been rebranded simply as Matt, Gabe & Captain Ron, and airs weekdays from 3-7pm. Phoenix is familiar territory for McAllister, who previously co-hosted mornings alongside Ben Campbell at iHeartMedia Country rival 102.5 KNIX/Phoenix from 2008 until 2016. McAllister launched The Morning Wolfpack on KKWF in October 2017.

Mercer, a native of Wenatchee, WA, is also a known quantity on Phoenix radio, having already been on the air at KMLE, and Audacy sisters 94.5 KOOL FM and KALV (Live 101.5).

With the new Matt, Gabe & Captain Ron on the air, Audacy RVP of Country Drew Bland (a.k.a. “Drew Blando“) moves to 10am-noon. Gunner & Cheyenne remain in morning drive, followed by Audacy’s Katie & Company from noon-3pm, and Audacy’s Rob & Holly continues to air from 7-midnight.
