Serina Held Over At ‘Tino Cochino Radio’
• The YEA Networks nationally syndicated Tino Cochino Radio received an early Christmas present in the form of a signed two-year contract extension for their superstar co-host Serina Perez, who will continue to entertain listeners daily alongside host Tino Cochino, DJ Nicasio and Producer Matt.
Perez previously spent a decade in the Phoenix radio market, working various on-air roles at Entercom Country KMLE and Top 40 KALV (Live 101.5) when she was selected to join the show in Dec. 2020 after an ambitious two-month audition process. Tino remarked, “‘Proud’ is the first word that comes to mind when I think of Serina’s growth over the past couple of years. She’s a true professional. More importantly, she’s coachable. She’s been in this industry for some time, and never once questioned our way of doing radio. She listened, learned and executed. I’m excited to keep growing our brand with, in my opinion, one of the most organic and genuine personalities in our industry.”
