Sheridan, Luvv On The Loose
• After just over six years with iHeartRadio Omaha, the last 2 1/2 years doing the morning show at Classic Hits KGOR, Tim Sheridan finds himself on the proverbial Nebraska radio beach and seeking his next opportunity. Sheridan had been in the building since July 2012, when he was hired as the morning news anchor for News-Talk KFAB and KGOR. He was upped to morning host on KGOR in April.
A veteran of the Lincoln, NE, market, Sheridan (above) spent the first seven years of his career with 1480 KLMS-AM. From there he crossed the street and spent the next 20 years with Three Eagles Communications’ Active Rock KIBZ (104.1 The Blaze), starting with the station’s sign-on in 1992 as the morning jock. • Justin Luvv (below) is also a newly minted free agent as his position as Imaging Director/afternoon drive at Cumulus Top 40 WYRG (Energy 93.9)/Indianapolis has been eliminated. Recently named Energy PD Sid Kelly has assumed command of the PM drive show, rendering Luvv’s position redundant. Luvv had also been handling afternoons for Westwood One Storq Network Hot AC/Rhythmic formats. Prior to arriving in Indy in Jan. 2017, Luvv spent 12 years in various roles with Radio One Urban simulcast WCKX/WBMO (Power 105.7/106.5)/Columbus, OH.
Looking back on his Indianapolis run, Luvv commented, “The personal connections I have made with the great people of Indianapolis and the opportunity to work with a dynamic group of professionals at Cumulus and Westwood One has been amazing, I wish the team in Indy and Denver well!
