St. Louis Appreciates Valuable Jules
St. Louis market veteran Jules Riley has been named PD of iHeartMedia Classic Hits KLOU/St. Louis. Riley most recently served as Operations Manager for the Scripps cluster in Tulsa, OK until January, when she returned to the Gateway City to focus on her voiceover career. She’s already well versed in the St. Louis radio landscape — from 2005 until 2008, Riley programmed WARH (106.5 The Arch) and KMVN-FM. Her extensive programming background also includes KPKX (98.7 The Peak)/Phoenix, WBEN (95.7 Ben FM)/Philadelphia and KICT (T95) & KFXJ/Wichita.
“We are extremely pleased to have Jules join the iHeartMedia St. Louis programming team,” said A.J., SVP of Programming for iHeartMedia St. Louis. “She’s got the vision, energy, and passion to lead 103.3 KLOU and to ensure that the station continues to do great things in St. Louis.” Making Riley’s move even more special — her arrival marks a joyful reunion for Riley and A.J. — she was the OM and he was APD/MD/morning talent at WBHT/Wilkes-Barre, PA some 15 years ago.
Beth Davis, Region President for iHeartMedia St. Louis commented, “Jules’ unique insight on the market, coupled with her wealth of experience, creativity and innovative style of thinking makes her a key addition to our programming team. We’re thrilled to have her with us.” Riley remarked, “I’m excited to be back in St. Louis as a part of the iHeartMedia team. I look forward to being a part of the great KLOU brand in a city known for a very competitive radio landscape. Thanks to iHeartMedia for this amazing opportunity.” Riley succeeds Dave Adams, who was recently named SVP of Programming for the company’s Tucson market.
