Star Shines Again In Saratoga Springs
• Loud Media announces the return of the “Star Radio” branding on Classic Hits WSSV-AM 1160 (Saratoga’s Star Radio)/Mechanicsville, NY, effective immediately. The move back to Star comes after a change to 93.3 Lake FM last September, and its latest incarnation as 93.3 Fun FM in June of this year.
Star Radio, now revived under its original mission — “Your Station, Your Music,” now extends its reach throughout Saratoga County and neighboring Ballston Spa, Malta, and Clifton Park, plugged into two Saratoga Springs-licensed FM translators: 93.3 (W227DW) and 96.1 (W241DM), bringing back its iconic sound, community focus, and personalities that helped make Saratoga radio special.
“We are so excited to bring this iconic brand and identity back to Saratoga Springs and the surrounding area, now with two FM frequencies to better serve our listening audience,” said Aaron Ishmael, CEO of Loud Media.
