Steal & Richards To Co-Program Portland’s Bull

• Collective Heads Founding Partner Tim Richards announced that, effective immediately, fellow Collective Head Jimmy Steal is taking on Co-Content Director responsibilities (with Tim) for Alpha Media Country KUPL (98.7 The Bull)/Portland, both working directly with Bull APD Dylan Salisbury.

Richards (left) said, “I asked Jimmy as we were launching Collective Heads if he’d be interested in co-programming The Bull as part of our new endeavor. I was beyond excited that he was into it, and we’re now off and running in Portland.”

Steal (right) brings with him over two decades of experience programming KPWR (Power 106)/Los Angeles (which he still consults) and as EVP of Programming for Emmis Communications. He spent the past six years leading Hubbard’s WTMX and WTBC/Chicago as VP of Brand and Content until earlier this year, when he moved back to Texas, and, along with Richards and Heidi McIvor-Allen, launched their Collective Heads consulting partnership, recently adding the talents of Jim Lawson.

Robert Dove, SVP/Market Manager of Alpha Media Portland, commented, “I’m excited to have Jimmy Steal join Tim Richards as co-PD of The Bull in Portland. I’m confident with all their programming successes between them, they will help elevate The Bull.”

Steal added, “I’m very happy to join Robert Dove, Alpha EVP of Content Phil Becker, Tim Richards and the entire first-class Alpha Portland team! I look forward to helping the Bull brand optimize every opportunity possible.” For more information about Collective Heads, visit CollectiveHeads.io.
