Styles Off The Beach… On A Beach

• Wes Styles has arrived in balmy Ft. Walton Beach, FL, hired by Community Broadcasters as the new PD of Alternative WZLB (103.1 The Blaze) and Adult Hits WWAV (102.1 The Wave). He succeeds Matt Stone, who resigned at the end of December to pursue a voiceover career and launch a non-radio business.

While introducing Styles to the staff, VP/Market Manager Ron Raybourne said, “Wes will be a great fit. He has programmed Rock stations very successfully around the country and is ready to help lead our brands to… [yup]… the next level™.” We are excited to have Wes join the Community Broadcasters team on the Emerald Coast.”

Styles most recently spent three years as OM/PD and afternoon drive personality on Mid-West Family Broadcasting Mainstream Rock WQLZ and former Triple A WLCE (Alice @ 97.7)/Springfield, IL. His previous PD stops include Townsquare Rock WQBK/Albany, NY, WWIZ/Youngstown, OH and WXQR/Greenville, NC. Weighing in on his sweet new Florida gig, Styles said, “‘Thrilled’ doesn’t begin to describe how I feel about joining the team at Community Broadcasters Ft. Walton Beach.
