Styles Sets Sail For New Gig

• As Neuhoff Media’s exit from broadcast radio winds down, Wes Styles announced his imminent departure as OM/PD of Neuhoff’s three-station group in Bloomington-Normal IL — Adult Hits WBBE (97.9 Bob FM), Active Rock WIHN (Rock 96.7) and Hot AC WWHX (Now 100.7) — as the cluster formally changes hands to Woodward Community Media.

The post on Styles’ professional Facebook page reads, in part, “I have accepted a job out of state and will be leaving the weekend of Sept. 13. I want to say thank you to the team I’ve worked with at Neuhoff Media (too many to mention). Also thank you to anyone who has given a listen to 97.9 Bob FM and/or Rock 96.7. I took great pride in those two brands and look forward to their continued success. I wish everyone here nothing but the best and will be cheering them on as Woodward Community Media comes on board. Info soon on my new location and job.”

Styles joined Neuhoff in February 2019 after a year as OM of Community Broadcasters’ four-station cluster in Destin-Ft. Walton Beach, FL. Styles earlier spent three years as OM/PD and afternoon drive personality on Mid-West Family Broadcasting Mainstream Rock WQLZ and former Triple A WLCE (Alice @ 97.7)/Springfield, IL. His previous PD stops include Townsquare Rock WQBK/Albany, NY, WWIZ/Youngstown, OH and WXQR/Greenville, NC. Stay tuned to see where Wes lands!
