Sumlin Joins DVMG As Social Media Director

• Desert Valley Media Group (DVMG) Phoenix is pleased to announce the appointment of Christopher Sumlin as the cluster’s new Social Media Director, representing the online presence for heritage Hip Hop outlet KKFR (Power 98.3 & 96.1), Hot AC KMVA (Hot 97.5 & 103.9), and John Sebastian‘s Boomer-centric Classic Hits KOAI (95.1 & 94.9 The WOW Factor).

Jeff Trumper, President & CEO of Desert Valley Media Group, expressed his enthusiasm for Sumlin’s appointment, stating, “Chris’ experience, skills, his enthusiasm and attitude make him the perfect fit to lead DVMG’s Social Media department across all our social media platforms.” While this is Sumlin’s first foray into the radio business, he brings a wealth of experience and expertise in social media management to his new role at DVMG — he’s an accomplished author of three books, is a regular contributor on TMZ as a social commentator, and has amassed over 4 million likes on TikTok (@TheChrisSumlin).
