Summers Returns To Magic Broadcasting

After a yearlong hiatus from Magic Broadcasting in Panama City, FL, we are pleased to report that Marc Summers, former PD of Top 40 WILN (Island 106) and Urban AC WVVE (Groove 100.1) has made his triumphant return to the company, this time in the enhanced role of Operations Manager for. As you can clearly see by this photo, Summers has hit the ground running and is already being worked into a coma.

In making the announcement, GM Misty Sims said, “After a year of restructuring Magic Broadcasting II I’m excited to announce the return of Marc Summers as Operations Manager, who will be working directly with Matt Wheeler, PD of WILN. Marc will assume PD responsibilities for WVVE and assist with additional Magic Broadcasting stations.” In a Facebook post, a grateful Summers said, “Thanks to Misty Sims, [Magic Broadcasting President] Don McCoy and everyone who welcomed me back to the stations I’m so passionate about. It has been a long year, and each month was a lesson in gratitude, humility and a deep appreciation for getting to do what I love each day, not just working for the love of a paycheck.”

Concurrent with Summers’ return, it was announced that Tyler on the Radio has exited afternoon drive on WILN. Matt Wheeler will cover the shift until a replacement can be named. Any candidates interested in this EOE position are urged to send their package to matt@magicfl.com.
