Tack Adds APD Stripes At B105/Cincy
• Congrats are in order for Jesse Tack, longtime afternoon driver at Hubbard Radio Mainstream Country WUBE (B105)/Cincinnati, who was just awarded APD stripes. Tack is also MD for Country sibling WYGY (97.3 The Wolf) and Classic Country WYGY-HD2.
In a staff memo announcing Tack’s newly created programming position, Brand & Content Director Grover Collins said, “Jesse has stepped up in a large way since the pandemic hit us with making sure everything is running smoothly on the air and behind the scenes. Whether it’s doing logs for WYGY and Classic Country WYGY-HD2 [or] training all new hires, he’s been doing the role of APD for a while, and I’m so happy and proud to make it official today.”
Tack joined WUBE in 2008 for nights and was elevated to afternoon drive in August 2014. He also serves as MD for Classic Country sister WYGY. Tack’s radio resume dates back to 1999 and WLLR/Quad Cities. He later worked for Susquehanna’s KFME/Kansas City from 2003-04, joined WYGY/Cincinnati in 2005 and earned the transfer over to sister WUBE in 2008. Tack can be congratulated at jesse@b105.com.
