Tack Named PD of KNCI/Sacramento

• Joey Tack has been tapped as the new Program Director and midday talent for Bonneville International Country KNCI/Sacramento. Tack will venture west, into the mysterious Pacific time zone, on Monday, July 1 after 15 years with SummitMedia in Knoxville, TN, the last five years as PD of Rhythmic WKHT (Hot 104.5).

Tack’s appointment was announced by Chad Rufer, Group Director of Programming for Bonneville Sacramento, who said, “We’ve spent a long time searching for the next programming leader of KNCI, but adding Joey to our team here in Sacramento makes the wait worth it. His creativity and passion for creating remarkable radio is simply unmatched.”

Tack commented, “I am both humbled and thrilled to be entrusted with the opportunity to take the experience I have gained and lead KNCI. This is a heritage station with an incredible team of professionals, and I’m excited to work with everyone at Bonneville International.”
