• We are awaiting the official announcement, laden with pithy quotes and whatnot, but RAMP has learned that Ken Carson is the newly named OM/PD of LM Communications’ Active Rock WYBB (98 Rock) and Triple A WCOO (105.5 The Bridge)/Charleston, SC.

Carson arrives on the Atlantic coast from Springfield, IL, where he was most recently OM/PD of Mid-West Family Broadcasting News-Talk WMAY (970 AM & 94.7 FM) and Mainstream Rock WQLZ. His extensive programming resume includes stops in Asheville, NC, Harrisburg, PA, Houston, Birmingham, Las Vegas, and earlier go-round 18 years ago with LM Communications in Charleston, so you could legally claim this as a radio homecoming.
